These market days are similar to bank holidays in the United Kingdom , were days that the majority looked forward to, featured trading and celebration and were attended by all the neighbouring townspeople.In short, these ‘market days’ were a platform for the celebration of diversity , while simultaneously improving the local economy through trade.
